Magnificent Sky Awaits Autumn Astronomy Tour Travellers

A great night away was had by all with Ben, Luke, Anthony and Jess experiencing ideal night observing conditions and mixing it with rich blue ocean walks and scenery. The parade of premium objects viewed throughout the evening included the biggest and best globular star clusters known, spectacular famous nebulae … and galaxies taking you to other worlds far far away. “Local” Jupiter with its bright colouful bands and Galilean Moons started the show in grand style.

The group which included Anthony – an astrophysicist in the making, had a ball. Overnight stay tour groups of 3 or 4 guests (all friends in your own group) make for a very economical way to have an overnight astronomy tour experience by the beach. You are taking in the night sky’s finest objects with a quality telescope. This tour was a wonderful guide to the stars. Bruce welcomed us warmly and showed an amazing level of hospitality in his lovely beachside home. The tour itself was fantastic, being shown many beautiful astronomy wonders with history and facts about them that really put it all into perspective.
