Gabriella From England Gets A Tour Birthday Gift

En Route Melbourne To Sydney, Gabriella Enjoys The Night Sky By The Beach

An overnight stay tour booking was Gabriella’s birthday present she selected but her friends in England made as her birthday gift. She has a keen interest in the stars and this trip to the southern regions where a relation of hers was having a wedding, was just the opportunity she needed.

Clear skies and mild temperatures were the order of the evening – an ideal set up for telescope observing. As a guest from the northern hemisphere, our skies present an exciting variation to those seen from England, plus our dark sky environment is something much more difficult to find in European countries.

Stars, clusters, nebulae, planets and galaxies were all included in Gabriella’s viewing evening – an excellent selection. Saturn and giant “stella nursery” the Tarantula Nebula were her favourite objects. Faraway blue gas giant Neptune was also a highlight. It was a terrific evening under the stars enjoyed by our guest, with many memories and our Tour Memento to take back home with her to England.
