Clear Skies Make For An Excellent Tour

Gayle and Peter are busy enjoying a variety of experiences now that Peter has retired from full-time work and a telescope sky tour was one adventure they were looking forward to ticking off their bucket list. From Melbourne, Gayle had booked an Overnight Stay Tour which enabled them to arrive mid-afternoon and enjoy the beach and surrounds on arrival day, with a provided breakfast and delightful sun-drenched morning beach walk before breakfast, the following day.

Tour night was ideal … clear skies, still and a mild winter temperature provided for comfort and excellent views. Not new to views through a telescope and Peter, through his work has spent a lot of time looking through microscopes, the pair were in somewhat familiar ground looking through the eyepiece of the telescope.
