Belinda And Travis Travel From The Murray River To Down South

A birthday present for Belinda from some time ago, a two night stay with Honeysuckles Astronomy Tours including an astronomy tour on one of the nights took place and delivered more than was hoped for.

Visiting many tourist spots along the way, they arrived into the evening on their first night booked. But this was no problem as we had left the accommodation ready for them and scheduled the tour for the second night of their stay. All went perfectly. The sky was clear with the exception of a brief period and we managed a full tour of a range of different sights to see. Galaxies, star clusters of different descriptions, nebulae – even gas giant Jupiter, were all on display. It was a fabulous observing night.

The following morning Travis and Belinda headed off to spend their final night of three away staying at a Yarra Valley winery outside of Melbourne. All in all, a fabulous birthday present for Belinda!
