Another Milestone Birthday – Another Special Birthday Gift

Greer’s Birthday Surprise Was Revealed To Her When She Arrived At Our Door!

… And having a fascination for Deep Space and matters planetary, Greer’s delight at receiving a Honeysuckles Astronomy Tour by the beach was plain to see! Vince, Hannah and Matt contrived to surprise her and all Greer knew was that she would need to bring along a warm coat with her! (for the tour evening of course)

The night was special, It started with a little cloud slowing down proceedings initially, but when skies cleared the heavens put on a fabulous display. Matt, Hannah’s partner, is from the U.S.A. and our night skies are the bees knees for travelers from north of the equator. Matt along with all the guests was simply amazed at the sights. And in keeping with it being a special event, our late evening meant our first views of planet Saturn this time around. Saturn presents itself with its rings almost edge on at the moment and this is not what one normally sees. It’s eerily different and quite spectacular. Saturn is a feature object for viewing over coming months with Jupiter joining it in several months’ time. We are encouraging guests to book early for November and early December for a feast of views including the gas giants.

As a keen enthusiast of the Solar System, Greer was absolutely delighted to finish her tour with a stunning view of the ringed planet. It, like the tour itself, came as a complete surprise! Wonderful.
